The Scottish Legal Aid Board (SLAB) have commissioned the independent research company, IBP Strategy and Research, to undertake research with clients of the Civil Legal Assistance Office (CLAO), as well as with people who contacted CLAO with a civil legal problem but were not taken on as clients.
The research will tell us how and why people contacted the CLAO service, and how satisfied they were with the service they received, including what was done well and what could be improved.
We will use what people tell us to help improve the service that CLAO provides. We will also publish the findings on our website in 2022.
IBP will contact people to invite them to take part in the research between Monday 25 October and Friday 26 November. The contact will be by telephone and by email.
Taking part in the research is voluntary and responses are confidential. It will not be possible to identify any individual respondents or CLAO staff in the reporting.
